My Koh also highlighted that the finance team had issues tracking all transactions from their multiple sales channels. He said: “With the consultants and the help that we have with our vendor, it integrated our whole system together so our operations became very smooth and we actually cut down a lot of unwanted errors.”

Mr Koh continued: “I believe that’s actually helped us very dearly because what happens is the whole integration went into our operations from the front counter all the way to the backend. For example, the Paynow system, which previously we had to manually check every customer’s mobile phone to see if the transaction goes through. Nowadays, it’s integrated into the system. Our vendor has that integration where they scan the QR code and it goes straight into our bank account.”
“We could be saving a lot of cost, so this is how we decide we need to embrace (digitalisation) and there’s a lot of good things that come along with it.”
