EPOS PayNow is an integrated payment method that allows customers to checkout directly with PayNow. The fund will be directly credited into the user’s corporate PayNow account associated with UOB based on the PayNow ID set up in the backend, and the transaction will be automatically verified and completed by EPOS UOB API when the funds are credited successfully.
Users can follow the steps below for both integrated and manual PayNow transactions:
1. Integrated PayNow
After adding items to the Order cart, users can click on the Pay button to get directed to the payment page.
Users can select the integrated PayNow method.
A QR code will be shown and this QR code is dynamically generated based on the transaction amount and PayNow account to be credited. Customers can proceed to scan the QR code to make payment. Once payment is cleared from Paynow, the payment completion page will be shown automatically on the POS and a voice notification will be played once payment is completed via EPOS PayNow.
💡This QR code will be invalid for payments after 10 minutes.
Cashier can click the Retry button for customer to scan again. Once payment is cleared from Paynow, the payment completion page will be shown automatically on the POS.
2. Manual PayNow Completion
After adding items to the Order cart, users can click on the Pay button to get directed to the payment page. Users can select the manual PayNow method.
A QR code will be shown for customers to scan and make payment. Once the customer has made payment, the cashier can manually click on the Complete Payment button after verifying that the payment has gone through.
The payment completion page will be shown on the POS.
