This January, several features across our POS, Backend, and Web Ordering App have implemented features to enhance the experience of both the users and customers.

(POS) Chinese Windows POS - Retail Features🖥️
📌 V5 POS system now supports Chinese language for retail functionality! 🎉
📖 How to Change the Language:
Go to General Settings > Language Setting and select Chinese.
(Backend) Sales Receipt - UI update ⚙️
The calculation of items in the transaction is more understandable now (especially the product with modifiers and set menu products)
(Backend) Sales Receipt - Hide zero value item ⚙️
User can set in the backend to hide the zero value item in the e-receipt.
a. In the backend, user goes to Receipt Template > Edit Sales e-Receipt
b. User can check on “Hide Zero Item” and click “Save Changes”.
c. Item with base price of $0 will be hidden in the exported PDF file and e-Receipt
If unchecked in the backend, the e-receipt would show like this:
(Backend) Mall Daily Report Format - GTO and Pax Count Update for F&B client ⚙️
1. A new parameter ‘gto_svc’ added, which excludes GST but includes Service Charge
User chooses the Report Type as “Daily”, then can select “gto_svc” as one of the parameters
2. “pax_no” now shows the sum up of all order pax counts for the day
When the user adds “gto_svc” and “pax_no” as the parameters, it’ll show like this in the exported document
(Backend) ERP Sales Module - Config to print /hide SKU in exported docs and email ⚙️
A new SKU configuration can be found under Edit Configuration, user can choose to hide or print out the SKU in Quotation, Invoice and Delivery Order.
- With the box checked (take Quotation as an example)
- With the boxed unchecked (take Quotation as an example)
How to Update
For POS related features, user will need to update the POS to the latest version, version 5.224.0.0.
For Backend related features, user are not required to perform any actions, the new features would automatically be updated.
